Privacy policy

Bundahsi Consulting Ltd (trading as A to Z of AI Accounting Software) is the data controller for this site and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.

What we collect

Depending on how you use this site, we may collect:

  • Email address — when you subscribe to updates, read the free report, use the Stack Builder tool, or purchase access.
  • Company name, role type, and business details — when you access the free report or complete the Stack Builder questionnaire, to personalise recommendations and understand our readership.
  • Questionnaire responses — if you use the Stack Builder, we collect your answers (firm size, geography, software preferences, challenges) to generate your shortlist. This data is not used for any purpose other than producing your results and improving the tool.
  • Name and job title — if you provide them when creating an account or making a purchase.
  • Team membership details — if you are part of a vendor or firm team account, we store your association with that team alongside your email and access tier.
  • Purchase and subscription details — order ID, product variant, and subscription status, received from our payment processor when you buy access.
  • Vendor links you click — when you are signed in, we record which vendor websites you click through to from a vendor profile or your hub, and when. Signed-out clicks are counted without any identity.

How we use it

We use your data to:

  • Give you access to the report and any features your account is entitled to.
  • Generate and display your Stack Builder shortlist and recommendations.
  • Send you updates about new vendors, pricing changes, and developments in AI accounting software — if you have subscribed or opted in to receive them.
  • Send transactional emails related to your account (access grants, purchase receipts, magic-link sign-ins).
  • Understand how the site and tools are used in aggregate, to improve them.
  • See which vendors readers are actually interested in, so we know which parts of the directory earn their place.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly.

Data processors

We use the following third-party services to operate this site:

  • Airtable — our database. Your email, company, and account details are stored in Airtable and processed under their privacy policy.
  • Resend — email delivery. Your email address is processed by Resend to send you communications. See their privacy policy.
  • Lemon Squeezy — payment processing. If you purchase access, your payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy. We receive only your email address and order details. See their privacy policy.
  • Netlify — website hosting. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type) are processed by Netlify to serve the site.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you unsubscribe from emails, we keep your address on a suppression list to ensure we do not contact you again. To request full deletion of your data, contact us at hello@atozaiaccounting.com.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You also have the right to object to processing, request portability of your data, and lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses one cookie to remember your access token, reading progress, and bookmark. It is strictly necessary for the service to function.

If you are signed in, a second cookie identifies you when you click through from a vendor profile to that vendor's own website, so we can see which vendors readers shortlist. It carries no password and grants no access, it is never set for signed-out visitors, it expires after 30 days, and signing out removes it. We do not pass your name or address to the vendor.

We also use Plausible Analytics - a cookieless, privacy-first tool that counts page views with no personal data, no cross-site tracking, and no IP storage. Because Plausible collects no personal data, it does not require GDPR consent. Full details at plausible.io/privacy.
