The A to Z of AI Accounting Software (Atozai)
For software vendors

Markets are conversations. Join yours.

The A to Z exists to help finance professionals navigate this market, which is why it catches serious buyers at the moment they are choosing. That conversation happens whether or not you are in the room. Claiming your entry gets you in the room.

You are in good company

Every AI accounting software product worth knowing about, from the ledgers every firm already runs to the ones that did not exist two years ago. All 349 assessed the same way.

Claim your spot

Claiming is the one way to verify what we hold on you. Not listed, or not on your company’s profile yet? This is where you sort that out too.

  1. 1Find your company
  2. 2Claim it, or ask for a seat
  3. 3We check it, then it publishes

Every published company is in here, and 138 of the 349 are already claimed.

01The case

Why this matters

This is where your product has to be right, at the exact moment a firm is deciding who makes the shortlist.

The research happens before the visit

A buyer works out who is worth a conversation often before they ever open your website, and they do it here: a category, a ranking, and 349 products described in consistent terms. This is the corpus that first impression is drawn from.

The reader is not always a person

More of that first pass is done by an assistant asked to narrow the field, and 92 of the products here already expose tools one can call on a buyer’s behalf. What it reads is structured, comparable fields, which is precisely what an entry is.

Take ownership of your entry

We research unclaimed entries properly and correct them when we are wrong, but the version of your product a buyer compares is only as current as what is public. Last quarter’s launch, the evidence behind each claim, the integration that shipped last week: those need you.

02The workspace

What a claimed entry gets you

The A to Z Workspace: our view of your market, not just a form to edit. Where you sit, who is looking, what they are trying to fix, and what is holding your entry back.

Ask

Put a question to the whole report, the register and every article. Five a month on a claimed seat.

The Report

Every chapter, free, for as long as your entry is live.

Market

The directory, the World Ranking, the Big 30 map and industry news in one place.

Mentions

Where you appear in the report, in articles and in the news we track.

Competitors

Five you pick, with their rank, their movement and their latest news.

My Stack

The buyer-side tooling, so you can see what a firm sees when they evaluate you.

03Independence

What you cannot buy

The first question every vendor asks is what it costs to rank higher. The answer is pretty clear. Nothing, because it is not for sale.

A higher rank

The World Ranking is scored the same way for all 346 entries. There is no advertising slot in it and never has been.

A better maturity level

AI maturity is assessed against evidence, not against what the website claims. Claiming lets you send better evidence, not skip the check.

Your own category

Where you are filed is editorial, because the map is only useful if it is consistent. Make the case with evidence and we will move you. Pay and we will not.

A recommendation

What a firm gets recommended comes from what they told us they need, matched against assessed capability. Partners are not weighted.

What does claiming cost?

Nothing. It gets you the Verified badge, the workspace, free access to the whole report and three seats for colleagues. There is no upgrade you have to buy afterwards to keep it.

Who can claim our entry?

Anyone with an email address on your company’s domain. The first person to claim it holds the admin seat, and can hand it to someone else or invite colleagues. If the wrong person holds it, email hello@atozaiaccounting.com and we will sort it out.

How long does approval take?

Usually a couple of days. Claims are checked by hand against the sources you cite, so an entry with working evidence links behind each claim goes through faster than one without.

Can we change what you say about our AI?

You can correct facts, add capabilities and send evidence, and we re-assess on that basis. What you cannot do is set the maturity level yourself. If we disagree with you, we will tell you why, in writing, and show the evidence we used. The methodology is public.

We shipped something new. How do we get it reflected?

Edit the entry in your workspace and submit it. Product launches, MCP servers and new integrations are the changes that move a score most, so they are worth sending as soon as they are live rather than waiting for the next edition.

What is the growth partner beta?

A small programme, open now, for vendors who want to be introduced to the buyers already looking in their category. Partners see that demand as a shape, get the introductions where the buyer has asked for one, and lose the five-a-month cap on Ask. It is the only paid thing here, and none of it touches your ranking, your placement or how you are assessed. Sign in to register your interest →

Can we be taken out of the report?

Yes. Ask and we will take the entry down, no argument and no exit interview. Most vendors would rather fix what is there, since a corrected entry keeps you in front of buyers who are already looking, but it is your call and always has been.

Do you take our data or contact our customers?

No. The workspace shows aggregate interest in your listing. We never pass on who looked at you, and an introduction only happens through the partner programme when both sides have opted in. Privacy.

The square is busy. Is your stall set up?

349 products are out there being compared today, yours among them, claimed or not. The only question is who is minding it.

Damon Anderson, author of the A to Z. Every claim and every edit comes to me.
